Five Ps

The 5Ps provide a bedrock for our decision making process. They allow us to focus our efforts on what matters and continue to differentiate us in the customer's eye.

We are a small company from a small nation with modest funding seeking to displace large multinationals in their home markets. Þetta reddast!

We want the world to experience the power and beauty of the North

Positioning

An everyday extraordinary life connected to nature, meeting impossible challenges with optimism, joy, and humor

Proposition

We make life and activity possible where there would otherwise be none

Principles

1. What we make is necessary

66 ̊North exists because it must, the Icelandic climate demands it. The products we make have always been held to the highest standard of necessity. We do not make fashion, we make clothes for life.

2. Quality, performance, and durability

The most positive value 66 ̊North can provide its customers and the environment is protection. Quality and performance are the most important ingredients of function and durability. The longer our products last and are useful, the more effectively 66 ̊North can protect its customers and the earth.

3. Do the least harm, balance the impact

All manufacturing creates pollution and waste. 66 ̊North must always seek to do the least harm, whether that is in its production, design, supply chain, or business planning. Where harm is created, 66 ̊North will balance the impact through circularity or mitigations in a transparent and honest way.
